Blair L. Fortner joined HighQuest Partners in 2011 as a Director based in St. Louis, Missouri. An economist by training, he brings a breadth of knowledge from the public, private and political sectors to clients.
Mr. Fortner previously served as Senior Economist and Director of Global Issues and Alliances at the US Soybean Export Council (USSEC). While there, he directed global research on market access issues and represented the interests of US soybean producers in trade negotiations. He has also held positions at the U.S. Department of State, U.S. House of Representatives, Citigroup, and on political campaigns at the state and national level.
Fortner holds a master of arts degree in economics with a focus on macroeconomics and public choice, and a bachelor of science degree in international economics and business, both from the University of Arkansas.
