Sarah Day Levesque is the Content Manager for Soyatech, LLC and an Analyst for Soyatech and HighQuest Partners’ Global Food, Agribusiness and Biofuels Practice. As content manager Ms. Day Levesque is responsible for content development for Soyatech events, website and online news and is primary author of Soyatech’s syndicated reports on the soyfoods and soy ingredients industry. As an analyst for HighQuest Partners she has worked on a variety of projects ranging from soy protein market analyses to oilseed trait studies and ethanol facility feasibility studies.
Prior to joining HighQuest Partners and Soyatech, Ms. Day Levesque gained extensive experience in agricultural research and writing. She conducted research using GIS software to analyze the effects of pesticide use on orchard crops in the Central Valley of California and through her work at the International Livestock Research Institute developed surveys and led focus group interviews analyzing milk processing and merchandising in the informal dairy industry in Kenya. The latter resulted in her developing relevant policy objectives for informal milk safety and market development.
Ms. Day Levesque received an M.S. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics and another in International Agricultural Development from University of California, Davis in 2006. She also holds a B.S. in International Agricultural Development from the same university.
