Research Analyst/Business Writer
HighQuest Partners, a Northeast-based (New York and Boston's North Shore) management consulting firm seeks an Analyst for the firm's Research Department. The Analyst's primary responsibility will be data collection through primary and secondary research methods. The Analyst will also synthesize and analyze data to produce independent market analyses that focus on the Food, Agribusiness, Bio-fuel, and Industrial Conglomerate sectors.
This is a pre-MBA position. We are interested in meeting candidates with the following qualifications:
- BA/BS with a record of high academic achievement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills – a writing sample must be submitted
- Analytical skills -- gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing complex qualitative data
- Ability to work with quantitative data
- Ability to multi-task and responsibly manage multiple commitments
- Strong computer skills (MS Office applications, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
- Strong desire to work in a collegial and challenging environment
- Experience or strong interest in the Food, Agri-business or bio-fuels sectors.
This entry-level position presents an excellent opportunity to break into the field of management consulting. The research analyst will work out of the firm's Topsfield, MA office (located approximately 20 minutes north of Boston). Some travel may be required.
