Soyatech Announces New Biofuels Index
Report Assists Industry Professionals and Investors in Monitoring Production, Current and Planned Capacity and Other Factors Affecting Biofuels Industry

BAR HARBOR, ME – Soyatech, LLC announces the availability of its Biofuels Index, a quarterly index report that provides subscribers with an objective tool to asses the unfolding investment boom and capacity build-out in the biofuels industry. The index is designed to enable industry professionals and investors to assess current and projected biofuels capacity, feedstock demand by region, and other factors affecting the biofuels industry.
Each quarter, the Soyatech Biofuels Index includes:
- Tracking of production capacity in three categories; current, under construction and planned, as well as comparison against previous estimates and projections
- Analysis of financing sponsors for plants and projects: publicly-traded companies vs. private groups
- Trend lines and geographic concentrations (capacities and feedstock consumption)
Future indices will also include information on relevant policy and political developments, biofuels capacities in major overseas markets, comparisons of feedstock commodity prices and energy-equivalent prices, and plant-level gross margin estimates.
