HighQuest Partners is a strategy consulting firm focused in the agri-business, food and biofuels sectors. Our clients range from seed technology companies to trading companies, processors, investors and end users globally. Typical projects include feasibility studies for grains and oilseed processing and logistics/storage facilities; advising institutional investors investing in agricultural lands globally; and developing growth strategies in new and emerging commodity markets. HighQuest focuses on taking an economic approach around feeding a growing world population.

The Analyst's primary responsibility will be data collection through primary and secondary research methods. Additionally, the analyst will synthesize and analyze data to produce independent market analyses for clients interested in growth, strategy and new markets in the Food, Agriculture and Renewable Energy sectors. This involves quantitative supply and demand modeling, trade flow mapping and price analyses for target commodities to determine competitiveness. The Analyst will work closely with HighQuest’s managing directors to develop growth strategies in the agribusiness sector for the firm’s clients. HighQuest is interested in meeting candidates with the following qualifications:

·         Demonstrated interest in the agri-business/food/biofuels sectors

·         BA/BS with a record of high academic achievement, preferably with strong background in economics

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Analytical skills -- gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing complex qualitative and quantitative data using Excel, Powerpoint, GIS a plus

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work independently to manage multiple commitments, while functioning as part of a team

·         Strong desire to work in a collegial and challenging environment
