Maximizing Farm Profitability to Be Focus of New Soyatech Conference (12.2.2010)

SOUTHWEST HARBOR, ME -- December 2, 2010 -- Farm Profitability 2011, a new conference from leading agriculture resource Soyatech, LLC, will be held on January 6, 2011 in Champaign, Illinois. Developed specifically for corn and soybean producers, this event will provide information and strategies to help farmers improve business practices to control cost; maximize yield and quality; and capitalize on marketing opportunities in order to increase farm profitability.

Key topics to be addressed at Farm Profitability 2011 will include:

• Strategies to get the best price for a crop;
• How crop inputs – and the market forces behind them – impact the farm;
• The profit potential in non-GMO and other IP crops;
• How to reach global markets without a middleman; and
• How to improve yields with proven strategies.

“Recognizing that farmers are running some of the most vital small businesses in America,” said Soyatech Content Manager Sarah Day LeVesque, “We decided to organize a program that provides access to the best information and experts in that arena. We hope the preliminary agenda posted at www.farmprofitability.com will give producers a sense of the scope of this exciting program.”
