At this third annual conference in the Soyfoods series, leading speakers will outline how soy protein ingredients and healthy oils can offer food manufacturers and marketers new tools to address consumer health concerns and increasing interest in every day nutrition. In addition, the conference will continue to provide opportunities for finding global business partners and potential customers throughout the value chain.

Soyfoods2011 will be a unique venue for business leaders attending Natural Products West later in the week to learn more about the evolving landscape of available plant proteins and healthful oils,” said Joe Jordan, Soyatech Content Director, “As we did last year, we anticipate having food manufacturers and marketers from throughout the U.S., as well as Latin America, Asia and Europe, in attendance to provide perspective on worldwide market opportunities.”

Sessions planned for Soyfoods2011 will cover topics such as:

• determining how consumer trends are influencing the U.S. market for soy protein-based foods and healthy oils;
• understanding and communicating the reality of the relationships between soy and health;
• identifying opportunities for growth in the non-dairy and meat alternatives categories;
• exploring the nutritional properties of healthy vegetable oils;
• anticipating the potential for emerging edible oil traits; and
