Soyatech Launches All New www.Soyatech.com (3.9.2007)

BAR HARBOR, ME – Soyatech announced today that it has launched the third generation of www.soyatech.com. At the same time, the company has implemented a new look and functionality for its award-winning Soyatech eNews in daily and weekly editions.

“This project has been in planning, design and development for more than a year,” said Soyatech marketing director M. Denis Hill. “Every member of the Soyatech team has dedicated many hours to making the new site more functional and a better experience for users.”

Visitors to the home page will immediately notice the new look of the site and convenient access to many features including: the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition, a calendar of industry events, Soyatech eNews and a comprehensive collection of soy and oilseed facts.

A cornerstone of the site is Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition. This online database of the industry is not only the most comprehensive and functional directory of the industry, but access is FREE with site registration. Through a combination of free-text, drop-down menu and drill-down tree search, users can quickly locate listings of producers, processors, suppliers and vendors to the soybean and oilseed industry.

Upgrades to Soyatech eNews are equally extensive. Start with a dynamic preview of selected news articles on the home page. Next, enjoy the eNews archive search. Moving from eNews on the site to the emailed-delivered daily and weekly editions, subscribers will enjoy the ability to forward to a friend, more convenient preference management and improved deliverability due to a new distribution engine.

Both subscribers and site users will find it very convenient to manage their preferences for Soyatech publications and services. The central user account console consolidates in one place maintenance of contact information, password, and subscription preferences. Free subscription options include Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition, Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Print Edition Soyatech eNews Daily and Soyatech eNews Weekly.

The new Soy and Oilseed Facts section of the site offers a mini-encyclopedia of information on growing, processing and product use. Though under continuing development, this repository already contains useful introductions to biodiesel, canola, corn, ethanol, peanuts, rapeseed, soy and sunflower. Additional topics include the Oilseed Glossary, soy and health facts, and trans fat facts. Industry webmasters are encouraged to link from their own websites to these pages to provide expanded content.

Of course the site describes the range of products and services Soyatech has offered the industry for more than 20 years. The Research & Consulting section describes syndicated market reports, consulting and advisory services and custom research. The Services segment describes the many free and paid opportunities for exposure to the industry through the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook, Soyatech eNews and Soya & Oilseed Summit.

The highly functional Upcoming Events calendar is another Soyatech information service. Listings are free and calendar sponsorship is an economical means used by many event promoters to reach the Soyatech audience. The calendar is fully browsable and features a keyword search function. Soyatech invites industry event producers to submit their listings for inclusion to customerservice@soyatech.com.
