Soy Protein Market to Grow 7.4% per Year Through 2010, Says New Soyatech Report (12.21.2006)

BAR HARBOR, ME -- Soy protein has benefited greatly over the past decade from the healthful image of the soybean in the U.S. and many other developed countries. Health and other drivers have fueled growth in soy protein production from 1.4 million metric tons in 2000 to 2.4 million metric tons in 2005, representing a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 10.7 percent and value of $2.5 billion.
