Kate Westfall joins HighQuest Partners as director of content and client relations

DANVERS, MASS., Feb. 28, 2012 -- Kate Westfall has been named director of content and client relations for HighQuest Partners, LLC., a leading global consultancy focused on agribusiness and agriculture investing.

Westfall will be responsible for the successful execution of Global AgInvestingSM (GAI) events, including driving revenue and generating innovative content, developing marketing strategies and helping to create new products for the GAI conference series.  Her role includes oversight of certain operational aspects necessary for the GAI brand to realize its performance objectives, including working with the team to create, launch and maintain a groundbreaking GAI web presence that will feature a robust research and insight platform.

Prior to joining HighQuest Partners, Westfall, who will work out of the company’s New York office, had been conference director in charge of agriculture, water and infrastructure investment events for IIR USA, in New York. She had responsibility for conceptualizing new events and formats, and writing all conference programs and agendas, marketing materials, press releases and web content, as well as conducting industry research and using her extensive network in the agriculture investment community to recruit expert speakers.
Before that, Westfall was managing director of marketing and events with Newseed Advisors in New York where she oversaw the planning efforts for the Agriculture 2.0 conference series, which hosted over 600 attendees in 2010.
Westfall holds a bachelor of arts degree from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C., and a master’s degree from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Colorno, Italy.
