Organic & Non-GMO discussion at Minneapolis Ag Club (7.18.2016)

MINNEAPOLIS, July 18, 2016 – HighQuest Group will welcome Beth Robertson-Martin, sourcing lead for Organic & Non-GMO ingredients at General Mills, as guest speaker at its inaugural Minneapolis Ag Club luncheon. The two-hour networking business luncheon will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Minneapolis Club here.

Robertson-Martin, who leads the General Mills group with a particular focus on developing deep industry relationships and new alliances, will speak on “Overcoming Organic Supply Constraints.” Robertson-Martin’s commitment to creating a more sustainable food system stems from her early years growing up on an organic farm in Southeastern Missouri.

“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Robertson-Martin to discuss the challenges and opportunities within the organic supply chain, a timely topic in the ag sector,” said Ag Club Director Susan Mellinger.

The Minneapolis Ag Club seeks to bring together agribusiness and ag investing market participants to network, discuss important trends and promote business success among regional stakeholders in cities from coast to coast.

The luncheon runs from noon to 2 p.m., with networking until 12:30 p.m., followed by lunch/speaker. The Minneapolis Club is located at 729 2nd Avenue in South Minneapolis. Registration is $70 per person and is requested by Wednesday, July 27 at Ag Club registration.
