Challenges in commodity and non-GMO markets at Minneapolis Ag Club (10.17.2016)

MINNEAPOLIS, October 17, 2016 – HighQuest Group will welcome guest speaker Linda Barclay of CHS to present “Navigating Markets: Current Challenges in Commodity and Non-GMO Markets” at next week’s Minneapolis Ag Club. The two-hour networking business luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Minneapolis Club here.

Barclay is the soy flour sales manager at CHS Inc. Prior to joining the Protein and Food Ingredient Group, Barclay worked in various roles within the grain marketing division at CHS. She started her agricultural career as a procurement trainee out of college and continued in different roles including the northern European wheat sales representative and senior procurement merchandiser. Barclay was raised on a farm in West Central Wisconsin and holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Winona State along with an MBA and a Master’s of international business from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

The Minneapolis Ag Club seeks to bring together agribusiness and ag investing market participants to network, discuss important trends and promote business success among regional stakeholders in cities from coast to coast.

The luncheon runs from noon to 2 p.m., with networking until 12:30 p.m., followed by lunch/speaker. The Minneapolis Club is located at 729 2nd Avenue in South Minneapolis. Registration is $70 per person and is requested by Friday, October 21 at Ag Club registration.
