Executive director of MOSES to present at Minneapolis Ag Club (4.3.2017)

MINNEAPOLIS, April 3, 2017 – Guest speaker John Mesko of Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Services (MOSES) will provide his expert insight on “Barriers to Rapidly Expanding Sustainable and Organic Production” at the upcoming networking Ag Club luncheon, May 17 here in Minneapolis. This event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the Minneapolis Club at 719 2nd Ave S.

Mesko is the executive director at MOSES, a nonprofit organization that promotes organic and sustainable agriculture by providing the education, resources, and expertise farmers need to succeed. The MOSES Organic Farming Conference draws 3,000-plus people each February in Wisconsin to educate its participants on organic and sustainable farming.
Prior to his role at MOSES, Mesko was head of the Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) in Minnesota. His career began at Purdue University and has since touched many areas of agriculture, including fertilizer sales, biotechnology research, and now sustainable and organic farming practices. Mesko views farmers as the caretakers of the environment, and strives to bring the food and farming community together to produce sustainable and healthy food.
