USDA, Bunge, Surface Transportation Board Leaders Among High Level Speakers to Address Annual Ag Trade Conference

Roger Beachy, Director of the National Institute of Food & Agriculture (NIFA): As the first director of this new agency established last fall by the USDA, Dr. Beachy is working to rapidly expand U.S. government investment in agricultural research. Previously, he was the founding president of the Donald Danforth Plant Center.

Soren Schroder, CEO of Bunge North America: Mr. Schroder joined Bunge in 2000 and has been leading the company’s operations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico since the beginning of 2010.

Daniel Elliott, Chairman of the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB): Selected to lead the STB in 2009, Chairman Elliott has made the harmonizing of relationships between shippers and railroads a priority during his term.
